Lights, camera and local talent: DWO Hotels in Granada cinema

We attended the premiere of “La Otra Mitad”, a short film celebrating diversity and Andalusian art in the heart of Granada

At DWO Hotels, our philosophy goes beyond accommodation: we aim to be a meeting point where meaningful experiences happen. That is why we are especially proud to share our recent cultural collaboration sponsoring the short film “La Otra Mitad”, a cinematic project inspired by the essence of Granada that we supported with great enthusiasm.

A red carpet night with Granada spirit

On May 30, the DWO Hotels team attended the premiere at the Megarama cinemas in Granada. It was a special evening hosted by actress Carmina Corpas (Lorca Award 2024), where we shared unforgettable moments with directors María Pasadas and Elena López, and an outstanding cast led by national actress Toni Acosta, alongside Andrea Guasch and Álex Puértolas.

More than sponsorship: a cultural connection

This collaboration is built on a shared value: passion for local talent. “La Otra Mitad” is more than a short film; it is an intimate and meaningful reflection on diversity, produced by Chichinagranaina Producciones, showcasing the creative strength of Andalusia.

DWO Urban Granada: your stay in the heart of culture

Our hotel in Granada, DWO Urban Granada, is more than a design hotel in the city centre. It is a space connected to its surroundings and committed to local culture. Supporting inspiring and transformative initiatives allows us to offer guests a more authentic and human vision of the destination.

For DWO Hotels, being part of this creative journey is a way of giving back to Granada all the art and inspiration it offers us. We want our hotels to become ambassadors for local culture.

We thank the team behind “La Otra Mitad” for allowing us to be part of this story. We will continue supporting culture that inspires, moves and helps us grow.
